Dose is a daily insight app. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep this short because we collect very little.

1. Who We Are

Dose is operated by M. Yassaee, an individual based in Zürich, Switzerland. You can reach us at the contact address listed in Section 8.

Because we are based in Switzerland and serve users in the European Union and European Economic Area, this policy is written to comply with both the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG, in force since September 2023) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the app:

• Email address — used to create and identify your account.
• Notification time preference — the time of day you choose to receive your daily insight. Stored as a time value (e.g. 07:00) and your timezone.
• Insight history — a record of which insights you have already received, so we never show you the same insight twice. This is functional data, not used for profiling or personalisation.
• Push notification token — a device identifier generated when you grant notification permissions. Used solely to deliver your daily insight notification. Not linked to any personal profile or shared with third parties.

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, device identifiers, or any browsing or behavioural data. We do not use advertising tracking of any kind.

We may use crash reporting and analytics tools to improve the app. If we do, this policy will be updated to reflect what is collected and how it is used.
